Introducing Nikawa Kami, blocks of color and texture, hand-painted or -stained with vegetable dyes, young persimmons (kakishibu) with tannins, or natural Japanese lacquer (urushi). Easy to apply with conventional papering methods, washi offers a luxurious and long-lasting accent to one wall, doors or cabinetry faces, or an entire room.
Handmade Japanese "washi" paper, made from plant rinds, in (roughly) 25 x 36" blocks, each sheet overlapping left to right to show the live edge, can be installed to perfection by our iinstaller.
